Power Play: Be a source of joy

30 May 2012 Rose Herceg

Power Players are the people that everybody else wants to be around. You know the type. These are the people who make you feel happy, make you feel good about yourself and make the time spent together, fun.

The greatest Power Players are a source of joy. People instinctively want to be their friend and love being around them. They have a knack of putting everyone at ease and their personalities are such that people like the vibe they give off.

Each of us has a choice to make in life. We can either be a source of joy or a source of misery. We can either light up a room or be that person who causes others to roll their eyes when only their name is mentioned.

Power Players do everything they can to attract people to them. Even in the darkest, most awful moments they keep lightness in their step and know that a smile, a kind word and a positive disposition can make a messy situation more than just bearable.

Be a source of joy. It makes all the difference.
