Australian stocks end week in the red: Afternoon market insights

The Australian stock market lost almost 1% today, following overnight leads.

At 2.30pm, the ASX200 gave up 0.93% to 4229.9, while the broader All Ordinaries index gave up 0.91% to 4251.0.

The Australian dollar weakened today, buying $US1.04735.
