Indigenous leadership award winner

An indigenous Tamworth woman, Akeishia Dart, has been awarded a $6,000 scholarship to enhance her management skills. Dart was awarded the Rebecca Gregory Indigenous Scholarship, an annual scholarship awarded by the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) NSW & ACT. 

Dart began her career in mental health, and then moved into child protection. She is now a team leader at the Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service drug and alcohol counselling service.

Dart will receive a range of prizes, including an AIM NSW & ACT Diploma Qualification training.
