Market falls on inflation expectations: Afternoon market insights

After several days of gains, the ASX ended the week lower as the RBA lifted its inflation forecast, suggesting it may have cause to raise interest rates in the future.

The ASX200 lost 0.57% to 4293.9, while the broader All Ordinaries index gave up 0.48% to 4309.3.

The Australian dollar fell today, buying $US1.05325.
